Feature
playing together
Two copies of the app on the same network find each other and share a patch, so an edit on one is heard on both.
Runs on:
- Desktop (macOS, Linux, Windows)
- Raspberry Pi / ARM64 Linux SoC (headless audio node)
Playing together starts with discovery: copies of the app on one network see each other without an address being typed in. Edits, presence and clock travel between them, and every message carries a version so mismatched copies refuse to connect rather than mishear each other.
A headless node joins the same way, which is how a patch reaches a box with no screen in an installation.
