Feature
Ableton Link
A link chip joins a patch to an Ableton Link session, so its tempo and beat follow the other apps in the session.
Runs on:
- Desktop (macOS, Linux, Windows) (partial)
- Raspberry Pi / ARM64 Linux SoC (headless audio node)
Ableton Link enters a patch as a chip. Once it joins a session, the patch clock takes the session tempo and beat phase.
Two headless nodes on one machine, one playing a click and one playing stems, have been measured at 133 bpm holding the same beat about 4 microseconds apart.
